About Krista Siefker
Welcome! I’m Krista Siefker.
MA, LIMHP, LPC Licensed Therapist
Welcome to my therapy practice Chasing Hope Counseling. Beginning therapy can be a challenge, and I realize that you may have initial questions about what to expect. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process between the client and therapist, and I encourage you to voice any questions, concerns, and hesitations you may have during the course of your therapy so that we can work together to ensure you receive the treatment that best fits your individual needs.
Counseling is a mutual and collaborative process, aimed at resolving core conflicts that disrupt everyday life. As your counselor, I will bring to the sessions my professional knowledge, training, and experience, but the ultimate responsibility for personal growth and change rests with you. As your counselor, my philosophy is to gather information and together identify goals, techniques, and measures of progress. Each of the aforementioned components is subject to change, and any techniques are open to further discussion. My goal is always to do what is best for you. Given this understanding, you are free to discontinue counseling at any time without obligation.
